Description
Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, these air fryer apple fries are a quick, tasty snack with a light cinnamon crunch.

- 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Peel (if desired) and cut apples into fry-like sticks. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- In Bowl 1, add flour. In Bowl 2, whisk egg and milk together. In Bowl 3, mix panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Dredge each apple stick in flour, dip into the egg mixture, and coat well with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray coated apple fries with nonstick spray and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with caramel dip, yogurt, or whipped cream.
Notes
For best results, dry the apple sticks well, work in small batches, and serve immediately to maintain crispness.
