Description

This easy air fryer baked potato recipe delivers extra crispy skin and a fluffy interior — every time. Ready in under 45 minutes with just 4 ingredients, it’s the perfect side or base for endless toppings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium Russet potatoes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat dry with paper towels.

  2. Pierce each potato with a fork 8–10 times to release steam.

  3. Rub the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.

  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400ºF.

  5. Place potatoes in the air fryer basket with space between each one.

  6. Cook for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until a fork easily pierces the center.

  7. Remove carefully with tongs or oven mitts. Slice open, fluff with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Always preheat your air fryer for crispier skin.

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket to allow air circulation.

  • Use similarly sized potatoes for even cooking.

  • Toppings like butter, sour cream, cheese, or chili turn it into a full meal!
