Ingredients
-
4 medium Russet potatoes
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
-
Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat dry with paper towels.
-
Pierce each potato with a fork 8–10 times to release steam.
-
Rub the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
-
Preheat your air fryer to 400ºF.
-
Place potatoes in the air fryer basket with space between each one.
-
Cook for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until a fork easily pierces the center.
-
Remove carefully with tongs or oven mitts. Slice open, fluff with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
-
Always preheat your air fryer for crispier skin.
-
Don’t overcrowd the basket to allow air circulation.
-
Use similarly sized potatoes for even cooking.
-
Toppings like butter, sour cream, cheese, or chili turn it into a full meal!
