Description

Delicious, juicy beef burgers made effortlessly in an air fryer for a quick meal without the mess.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (80/20)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and optional barbecue sauce. Mix gently.
  3. Shape the beef into 3-4 evenly sized patties about ½ inch thick and press a small dimple in the center of each.
  4. Lightly oil the air fryer basket or use a liner.
  5. Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. In the final 1-2 minutes, add a slice of cheese or a glaze of barbecue sauce if desired.
  7. Let the burgers rest for 3-5 minutes before serving on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Make sure to use a meat thermometer to confirm internal temperature reaches at least 160°F for safety.
