Description

Crispy garlic‑infused toast topped with creamy seasoned avocado—made in just 7 minutes in the air fryer. A delicious and nutritious breakfast loved by busy mornings and brunch lovers alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices sturdy bread (sourdough, multigrain, or whole grain)

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 fresh garlic clove

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • Sea salt, to taste

  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Optional add‑ons:

    • ¼ tsp chili flakes or a drizzle of chili oil

    • 1 tsp fresh lime or lemon juice

    • Toppings: cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, smoked salmon, poached egg, herbs, olives

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 °F (190 °C).

  • Brush both sides of each bread slice with olive oil.

  • Rub the cut side of a garlic clove onto one side of each slice.

  • Air fry the bread slices for 4–5 minutes, flipping halfway, until they’re golden and crisp.

  • Meanwhile, mash the avocado in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, and optional lime juice or chili flakes.

  • Spread the seasoned avocado on the warm toast.

  • Top with your favorite add‑ons such as a poached egg, feta, or fresh herbs.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy the crunch and flavor.

Notes

Bread choice: Use thick slices that hold up in the air fryer—sourdough or multigrain are ideal.

Garlic flavor: Adjust garlic intensity by rubbing more or mixing minced garlic into the avocado.

Holding toast: Air-fried toast is best eaten fresh; you can prep ingredients ahead but assemble just before serving.

Storage tip: Store avo mash with a squeeze of lime and airtight container to slow browning; good for up to 1 day.
