Ingredients
-
1 pound lean ground turkey
-
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
-
1 large egg
-
1/4 cup milk
-
1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
-
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
-
Optional: 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
-
Optional: Parsley flakes for garnish
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and onion (if using). Mix just until combined.
-
Use a cookie scoop to form 2-inch meatballs.
-
Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
-
Place meatballs in a single layer in the basket. Air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
-
Check for doneness (internal temp of 160°F). Let rest for 2–3 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
For even cooking, make meatballs the same size.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches.
For a dairy-free version, skip the cheese and use plant milk.
Add grated veggies for more nutrition or red pepper flakes for spice.
