Description

Bold, crispy, and fiery, these bite-sized spicy chicken pieces cook in just 7 minutes using your air fryer. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or protein-packed meal!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp brown sugar (optional)

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch or flour


Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3–5 minutes.

  • In a bowl, toss chicken with olive oil.

  • Combine all spices and cornstarch in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken and mix until coated.

  • Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Ensure internal temp reaches 165°F.

 

  • Let rest 2 minutes before serving. Enjoy hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For less heat, skip cayenne and add more paprika.

Add a sticky glaze after cooking for firecracker-style flavor.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in air fryer for 5 mins at 350°F.
